Biography
Ahmed Moalim Fiqi is a Somali politician who has served as Minister of Defence since April 2025. A close ally of President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, he has previously held several senior portfolios including Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Interior, and earlier served as Director of the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA).
