Abdi Farah Shirdon

Abdi Farah Shirdon is a Somali businessman and economist who served as Prime Minister of Somalia from 17 October 2012 to 21 December 2013. Appointed by President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, his nomination was endorsed by 215 of 275 legislators. He is credited with overseeing development in social services and the national budget, as well as improving local security during his tenure.
